In 1999, riots erupted in the streets outside the World Trade Organization’s talks on globalization in Seattle, Wash. I was there to document the scene for Public Citizen, a consumer lobby founded in Washington, D.C., by Ralph Nader. These photos — which show some of the street action on Dec. 1, 1999 — were taken by my iPhone from the printed version of the Jan.-Feb. 2000 Public Citizen membership newsletter.
