‘North Woods Law’ grew from College of the Atlantic roots

Producer, warden on popular Animal Planet TV show are COA alumni

BAR HARBOR, MAINE —  Two College of the Atlantic alumni with key roles on the hit cable television show “North Woods Law” will speak about their experience producing and starring in the show in the latest free weekly Coffee & Conversation forum.

COA Academic Dean Ken Hill will speak with film producer Heeth Grantham ‘94 and Maine State Game Warden Troy Thibodeau ‘04 about their work on Animal Planet’s television show “North Woods Law.”

The reality show follows Maine Warden Service patrols as they cover more than 18 million acres of “rugged terrain filled with wild animals and wild people,” according to an Animal Planet show description. “These ‘State Police of the Woods’ never know what to expect from one moment to the next.”
