Major college guide ranks College of the Atlantic among best in U.S.

COA places in Top 20 for professors, quality of life, food, other key measures  

BAR HARBOR, Maine — College of the Atlantic is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to the Princeton Review.

In its 2015 edition of “The Best 379 Colleges,” Princeton Review placed College of the Atlantic in the Top 20 of several categories vital to student success:

  • No. 3 in the country in the category “professors get high marks,”
  • No. 9 for best campus food,
  • No. 11 in “their students love these colleges,”
  • No. 14 in quality of life,
  • No. 15 for access to teachers and
  • No. 19 for best financial aid.

In all, College of the Atlantic “is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education,” according to a news release from the education services company.
