More national recognition; school ranks high on national list, including Top 20 recognitions for value, international students
BAR HARBOR, MAINE — College of the Atlantic is once again listed as of the nation’s top 100 institutions for undergraduate liberal arts education, including Top 20 recognition for value, and percent of international students, according to the annual U.S. News & World Report listing released today.
The Washington Post noted the two largest gainers on the U.S. News Top 100 national liberal arts colleges list since 2010-11, “aside from St. John’s branches in Annapolis and New Mexico, were Bennington College (from 122nd to 89th) and College of the Atlantic (131st to 99th).”
In addition to its overall Top 100 ranking, U.S. News & World Report ranked College of the Atlantic as a Top 20 “best value” among all national liberal arts colleges, alongside Colby, Middlebury, Macalester, Swarthmore and Bowdoin colleges.
